High-Throughput Screening in Urine
The first poster will be on the method developed to screen for Gabapentin, Ethyl-β-glucuronide, Pregabalin and GHB at 8 seconds per sample using Luxon Ion Source. Since these drugs of abuse are highly polar and are most compatible with an aqueous phase, a simple dilution is done, which can be easily automated using the Azeo Liquid Handler or your chosen in-house liquid handler.
Whole Blood Drug Panel Screening in Impaired Driving Investigations
Second poster is on the rapid analysis of drugs of abuse in whole blood. The drug list and screening cut-offs described by ANSI/ASB Standard 120 for whole blood were used. The drugs were separated in two panels with each panel having their specific extraction process for the analysis with Luxon Ion Source.
