The International Women’s Day is a day where I can recognize how lucky we are as women in Quebec, and more specifically, at Phytronix. We have wonderful colleagues, regardless of gender, who support, back us up, and encourage us to accomplish our goals and our ambitions every day. It is also important for me to continue promoting the skills that women can bring to the STEM field for my kids and every child that wishes to contribute to scientific initiatives.

What does the International Women’s Day represent for you?
Women’s Day represents for me a symbolic day to highlight and recognize the achievements made by women, although it is important to recognize them throughout the year. This is an opportunity to appreciate the extraordinary female colleagues I have, to celebrate my female teammates and the mothers who take their health to heart and persevere in playing sports at a competitive level despite our hectic lifestyles. It is also to highlight the women of this world who carry life and who give birth to the next generations.
