Phytronix was invited to give a presentation at the ThermoFisher Scientific France Orbitrap User Meeting on December 5th, 2017, at the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris (CIUP). The latest developments in the Orbitrap family were presented through multiple sessions to its users from all around France.
Phytronix’ presentation, entitled “Sub second quantitative mass spectrometry analysis no longer a fiction with fiber coupled LDTD-Orbitrap”, focused on the different high-throughput areas in which the technology can be used such as toxicology, pharmaceutical, clinical research, environmental and food. It also demonstrated the methods that exist for specific applications such as drug screening analyses in human saliva.
ThermoFisher Scientific has identified the Luxon Ion Source™ as THE ultra high-throughput solution on the different Orbitrap models. The Luxon Ion Source™, based on the LDTD technology, uses a fiber-coupled laser diode to increase reproducibility and the analysis speed across thousands of samples.
It was an honor for Phytronix’ President to visit the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris, a beautiful piece of history, unity, collaboration and science.
The Luxon Ion Source™ and the LDTD™ may be used for research only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
