Phytronix is pleased to welcome its newest Sales Development Representative, Roumaida Ganaoui, in our Toronto area office.
As part of a Franco-Canadian exchange program between the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSAT) at the University of Carthage and the École Polytechnique de Montréal, Roumaida graduated as a Master of Science in Engineering in Applied Science and Technology specialized in Industrial Biology, Biotechnology and Environmental Nanotechnology.
She began her scientific career by joining the NSERC Industrial Drinking Water Chair in Montreal to conduct research missions on Canada’s surface waters.
Her resolutely international profile is confirmed since her first internships in Medical Biology in Europe and in the pharmaceutical industry in North Africa.
After this memorable experience, Roumaida has pursued a career that took her to California, Colorado and New York City where she oversaw the Marketing and Communications Department development in a start-up in E-commerce, where she had the opportunity to develop sales and marketing skills.
Her new position at Phytronix Instruments allows her to attain her interest in business development in the world of Science and Technology. Her roles include supporting sales development in the Great Toronto Area and the national and international representation of Phytronix Instruments.
“Supporting scientists with reliable services and state-of-the-art technology – exciting work!” She says. She also adds that she particularly appreciates meeting various scientific actors on the field to “help them as best as possible”.
